KCM looks forward to the 2016 edition of the get bEHIND the aRTS Studio Tour, taking place on Saturday, April 23rd in Racine and Sunday, April 24th in Kenosha. KCM was proud to support the Kenosha Literacy Council on Friday, April 8th by providing video coverage of the Literacy Council's Corporate Spelling Bee. Watch it on KCM channel 14 (97.14) this Saturday, April 16th at 5:00 pm and Sunday, April 17th at Noon. Replays on these days and times through May 15th. Kenosha producers Glen Kelly and Jeff Roberts, are being honored in late April 2016 for their achievements in local programming, Funny Guise (Kelly) and Shaken Up Kenosha (Roberts). They and other award winners will be honored at the 2016 Best of the Midwest Media Fest Banquet and Show in Madison, WI on Thursday, April 28, hosted by Wisconsin Community Media (WCM). "The fest was created to showcase great local access television programming and to provide feedback to producers from professionals in the field," said Mary Cardona, WCM Executive Director. This year, WCM received 185 entries from 26 Wisconsin and surrounding area access centers.
